Jointly organised by The Hong Kong Institute of Architects Biennale Foundation and
The Hong Kong Institute of Architects, with Create Hong Kong of the HKSAR
Government as the Lead Sponsor, the “HKIA Roving Architecture Exhibitions”
(Roving Exhibitions series) touring in Venice, Kuala Lumpur and Nanjing last year, is
finally returned to Hong Kong. This final stop contains the response exhibition to the
“Transformative Hong Kong” Exhibition at the 18th Venice Biennale International
Architecture Exhibition – La Biennale Di Venezia with Hong Kong Arts Development
Council as Co-organiser to be held at the Central Market from today to 11th March,
as well as the Hong Kong stop of the “Harmony in Diversity – Connecting the
Metropolis by in-between” Kuala Lumpur-Nanjing-Hong Kong Roving Architecture
Exhibition which will be staged at Kai Tak AIRSIDE from 23rd February to 11th
March. Both exhibitions are open to the public for free admission.

Originally opened in 1952, the State Theatre is Hong Kong's last surviving large-scale theatre and currently a Grade I listed historic building. In October 2020, Adrian Cheng of New World Development (NWD) announced a conservation project to meticulously conserve and transform this iconic building into a premier cultural and arts venue:

At their first AIA Hong Kong event this year, they had an inspiring visit to the Zao Lab at the Tsinghua Shenzhen International Graduate School Institute of Future Human Habitats on Friday evening.
Led by Professor Terrence Curry, AIA, the attendees were welcomed with warmth and a seminar on the ideology of Zao Lab as an embodiment of bodily experiences. AIA Shenzhen representative Chen Xi, AIA, and AIA Hong Kong past president Yimei Chan, AIA, extended their welcome to AIA members from Hong Kong and Shenzhen, as well as various international students, ranging from masters to PhD students.

The launch of the HKGBC Guidebook for Sustainable Built Environment took place at the CIC-Zero Carbon Park on 4 December 2023, with over 100 distinguished guests attending the launching ceremony. We were especially honoured to have the presence of Ms Clarice YU, JP, Director of Buildings, the Government of the HKSAR, who graciously supported the event.

[Hong Kong, November 20, 2023] - The Hong Kong Institute of Urban Design (HKIUD) concluded hosting the Urban Design Week 2023 with a Conference and Workshop on 17th and 18th November at the Nina Hotel Tsuen Wan West. The event brought together international professionals, academics, and industry leaders to discuss the latest trends, challenges, and innovations in the field.
