RIBA Hong Kong Chapter Celebrates Success of Architectural Narratives Exhibition 2024

A heartfelt thank you was extended to all attendees who joined in the celebration of this milestone. The chapter expressed particular gratitude to the Hong Kong Design Centre for its unwavering support throughout the project.
Special recognition was given to the dedicated chapter committee members—Louise, Vivian, Ruffina, Dianna, Adrian, Mandi, Angeliki, Sarah, and Betty—whose tireless efforts were instrumental in bringing this extraordinary event to life. Additionally, the chapter acknowledged the invaluable contributions of volunteers Dr. Vera Kleesattel, Christy Au, Siyu Cao, Izk Chan, and Felix Lam.
The evening was further distinguished by the presence of Shirley Surya, curator of Design & Architecture M+ and the IM Pei Exhibition, who served as the Guest of Honour. She presented awards to the winners of the hand sketch competition, celebrating the remarkable talent of participating students. A special mention went to Belinda Irlam-Mowbray, Hon FRIBA, FRSA, RIBA Executive Director of Membership Experience, for her engagement with members and insights on enhancing the organization’s focus in the region.
The exhibition drew a diverse audience, including architects, designers, families, and local community members. The overwhelmingly positive feedback highlighted the rich tapestry of contributions from participating practices, individual designers, and students, making this event an unforgettable success.
