Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition (GILE) and Guangzhou Electrical Building Technology (GEBT) return this year with an expanded scale, occupying areas A, B, and the new area D of the China Import and Export Fair Complex in Guangzhou and bringing together over 2,600 exhibitors. The fairs aim to offer a platform for sourcing and technological exchange to encourage innovation, bringing about both a bright future for the lighting industry as well as providing strong foundations for the development of the building sector.

This year’s Guangzhou Electrical Building Technology (GEBT) wrapped up successfully back in August 2022. The fair took place alongside Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition (GILE) and together they attracted 1,288 exhibitors and 128,202 visitors, a 31% increase from last year’s edition. The next edition of the shows will be held from 9 – 12 June 2023.

The 27th edition of Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition (GILE) closed its doors back in August 2022 at the China Import and Export Centre in Guangzhou, taking place alongside the concurrent Guangzhou Electrical Building Technology (GEBT). This year saw a significant rise in the number of visitors, with the two fairs attracting 128,202 visitors from 58 countries and regions over the four days, a 31% increase from the previous edition. The next editions of GILE and GEBT will be held from 9 – 12 June 2023.

In light of the ongoing pandemic situation across China and to
actively support government efforts towards containment, the 2022
editions of Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition (GILE) and
Guangzhou Electrical Building Technology (GEBT) will be
rescheduled, with new dates to be announced in due course. Both
shows were originally scheduled to take place from 9 – 12 June at
the China Import and Export Fair Complex in Guangzhou.
