About CAA architects
CAA architects is an architectural design firm involved in all aspects of design from urban planning, architecture, interior design, product design, art installation, and more. They are passionate about combining Architecture and Art together and redefine how the two disciplines impact future cities in the era of sustainability and digital technology while also generating social and economical value. CAA architects was founded by Liu Haowei in 2006 and has set up its headquarters in Beijing with the concept of Design for Tomorrow. It is now staffed by experienced architects and designers from all over the world, who combine Futuristic thinking with Oriental humanistic spirit to realize various types of projects on a global scale. Some of the major projects completed or on-going include Beijing Collaborative Innovation Park, a national key S&T park in 2020; the national key project of the Belt and Road Initiative, Maldives Airport Economic Zone, getting the 1st place in the international competition in 2018; Yisabu Doko Memorial Park in South Korea, as well as the Central Academy of Fine Arts’ Qingdao campus in 2017; Dali Nanzhao Folklore island tourist center in 2016; 2012’s charity work for Yanran Angel Children’s Hospital; and the interior space of the first Shanghai-Beijing high-speed rail renowned as the National Business Card in 2009.
