CSHK winning the Navigation ‘9+2’ Greater Bay Area Outstanding Contribution Enterprise Award

The 3rd Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Development Forum and Awards Ceremony jointly organised by Hong Kong Ta Kung Wen Wei Media Group, the Hong Kong Chinese Enterprises Association and the Greater Bay Area Fintech Promotion Association was held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. The Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, John Lee Ka Chiu, and other officials of the government, the heads of the offices of the Central People's Government in Hong Kong and celebrities from all walks of life attended the event. With its active contribution to the construction of the Greater Bay Area, China State Construction Engineering (Hong Kong) Limited (CSHK, hereinafter referred to as the "Company") was honoured with the “Navigation ‘9+2’ Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Outstanding Contribution Enterprise Award”.

CSHK has been rooted in Hong Kong for over 40 years. It always adheres to the business philosophy of "Exercising Caution in Details and Implementation; Building a Strong Foundation to Seek Greater Success” and takes innovative construction technology, professional management, talent cultivation and sustainable development as its core development strategies to work together with the society and enhance people's quality of life with heart and soul.

Based on the "technology empowerment" strategy, CSHK actively promotes the transformation of the construction industry towards industrialisation, intelligence and greening. The Company independently researched and developed the industry-leading enterprise data platform C-SYS+ and the smart construction site management platform C-SMART, and innovatively uses advanced construction technologies, such as MiC (Modular-integrated Construction), DfMA (Design for Manufacture and Assembly), BIM (Building Information Modelling), AI (Artificial Intelligence), robotics, etc., bringing new breakthroughs to project management.

CSHK strenuously promotes carbon reduction by constantly exploring different areas including design, selection of building materials, project construction, operation and maintenance in attempt to establish low-carbon development path for the construction industry and formulate a scientific and feasible carbon neutrality roadmap. In addition, the Company has also created the world's first green demonstration project that promises to achieve carbon neutrality during the construction period, namely the Organic Resources Recovery Centre Phase 2 (O·PARK2), which allows it to become a pioneer in promoting the construction industry from "low carbon" to "zero carbon".

Adhering to the talent concept of "assembling the enterprising ones and motivating the promising ones", CSHK has always regarded talents as a valuable asset. The Company has formulated a series of policies and incentives such as the “Double Hundred” Youth Talent Development Plan, the Management Measures for the Training of Core Talents and the Management Measures for the Training of Trainee Engineers to accelerate employees’ development and create more opportunities for them. At the beginning of 2022, the fifth wave of the pandemic broke out in Hong Kong. The Company once again shouldered the heavy responsibility of building 8 community isolation and treatment facilities around the clock, providing a total of more than 40,000 beds. Among these facilities, the Tsing Yi Community Isolation Facility was completed in just one week. John Lee Ka Chiu expressed when he paid a visit that the Tsing Yi Community Isolation Facility is an iconic project.
