About China Academy of Urban Planning & Design Shenzhen
China Urban Planning and Design Institute (hereinafter referred to as China Planning Institute) is a scientific research institution directly under the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of the People's Republic of China, and is the national urban planning research, design and academic information center. It has Grade A qualifications for urban and rural planning preparation, engineering design tourism planning and design, cultural relic protection engineering survey and design, architectural engineering design and building intelligent integration (Beijing company); it has the qualification to contract overseas municipal engineering survey, consulting, design and supervision projects; it is a Beijing company. It is a high-tech enterprise recognized by the city and a high-tech enterprise in Zhongguancun Park. Serving the country, scientific research standards, planning and design, social welfare and industry services are the four main functions of the China Planning Institute. The China Planning Institute is a master's degree-granting unit in urban and rural planning approved by the Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council, and a post-doctoral research station approved by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security of the People's Republic of China; it is an affiliated unit of academic groups such as the China Urban Planning Society and the National Committee of Experts on Famous Historical and Cultural Cities. More than ten second-level professional academic committees such as the Society and China Urban Planning Association are affiliated to the China Planning Institute; it is a member unit of China International Engineering Consulting Corporation; it is the national urban planning standard and technical focal point designated by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development. The transportation standard technology focal point; it has undertaken the work of four ministerial technology centers, including urban transportation engineering technology, subway and light rail research, urban water resources, and urban water quality monitoring (including the National Laboratory for Water Quality Monitoring). The China Planning Institute has established contacts with relevant academic institutions in more than 20 countries and regions, is a group member of the International Housing and Urban Planning Alliance, and is a registered consulting agency of the World Bank.
