A unit of more than 200 square feet needs to meet the needs of Feng Shui, private space and storage. How should it be handled? This time, the unit is about 280 square feet, and the layout has Feng Shui requirements. The owner also has a collection of many model dolls, which need to be placed. To this end, the designer used glass partitions to meet the Feng Shui requirements, and divided the hall and room areas with wall cabinets. At the same time, the designer increased the display space to place the collections of the head of the household to make the most of every inch of space.
In principle, the unit has two rooms, one of which is directly facing the gate, which is not good for Feng Shui. Therefore, the designer removed the partition wall between the two rooms, and installed another glass wall and a set of wall cabinets to divide the new room area and separate the room from the door. In this way, at the moment of entry, you will only see the glass wall, which solves the needs of Feng Shui and has a higher degree of privacy. After the modification, one of the principle rooms became a hall, which was separated from the room by a wall TV cabinet to increase the activity space. The designer also set up glass display cabinets on the upper part of the TV cabinet and the back of the sofa to display a large number of collections of the head of the household.
A strip glass wall is set at the gate to meet the needs of Feng Shui.
There is an electric drying rack above the corridor next to the gate, which can be stowed on the ceiling at ordinary times without occupying the activity space.
The hall is separated from the room area through the newly installed wall TV cabinet.
In addition to the TV cabinet, there is also a display cabinet on the back of the sofa to display the collection of the head of the household.
Walking from the hall to the room area, you will first enter the study area, which is located by the window, allowing the head of the household to receive sufficient natural light when working. Then there is the cloakroom. There are wardrobes on the left and right sides of the aisle, providing ample storage space. Finally, there is the sleeping area, which has a raised platform and is separated from the cloakroom by a sliding glass door to ensure privacy. Among them, the designer divided part of the space next to the bed to set up the refrigerator in the corridor. Through this arrangement, the kitchen space becomes looser. The toilet is located in the corridor. Since the space is relatively narrow, the designer also changed the original closed door into a sliding door to make the entrance and exit more spacious.
The study area is set by the window, so that the head of the household can receive more natural light when working.
One of the wardrobes in the cloakroom is finished with straight strips to add a sense of hierarchy.
The sleeping area is equipped with sliver glass sliding doors to enhance privacy.
Part of the cabinet group on the right side of the bed is located in the corridor, which is used to place the refrigerator.
Placing the refrigerator in the corridor can free up more space for the kitchen.
The upper half of the wall of the kitchen is paved with white tiles, while the lower half is made of gray-blue bricks, with richer layers.
Set up an L-shaped workbench with cabinets, sufficient storage and worktops.
The toilet adopts a large sliding door, which makes the entrance and exit wider.
The toilet is mainly in dark colors, with soft lighting.
The water tank of the toilet is hidden in the cabinet group, and it is connected with the washbasin countertop to form an L shape, providing more places for cleaning supplies.
