Direct Water Sprinkling System (DWSS) is developed and made in Korea by using hydroponic technologic to solve the problem of using nature soil. DWSS comprises modular panels 152mm (W) by 162mm (H) with individual planting cells in each module. Single modular with assembling design included Body, Top cover, Bottom Cover and movable planting pot for flexible design. It is a modular and enclosed panel designed to allow economical and easy installation of a stunning green wall.
DWSS body is 100mm thick. Each planting cell is set on designed degree angle and has a standard depth from the front of the panel to fulfill the heliotropism of plant need.
The planting cells is interlocked to the body rigidly. Whole system is sealed to prevent water leakage and pest proof. There are primary and secondary water inlet at the top of body to achieve the optimums moisture for the growth medium.
Myeon is formed by putting inorganic compound under a steaming process, so there is no soil erosion caused by clogging pipe and drainage problems, nor any consolidation problems. Myeon helps to prevent pest and insect. Myeon can absorb and retain water up to 7.8 times of its own weight. The water will stay at the bottom of the Myeon, the surface remains clean and dry to prevent any bacteria growth. Soilless media is clean and tidy, easy and quick installation.
DWSS is designed for easy maintenance by replacing the individual planting cell only. The system uses an automatic drip irrigation system, complete with a programmable control device, filter valves and pressure regular to ensure precise delivery of water to each plant on the green wall. Recycled irrigation system is an optional item for this system.
