Since 2009, Goodrich Global has been active in consciously in up-cycling interior furnishings like wallpapers, fabrics, floorings and carpets for our corporate premiums and charitable causes. These furnishings were leftover wallpapers from renovation projects or out of season fabrics, carpets and floorings.
Goodrich always aims to create less waste through repurposing and recycling. Saving the Earth is paramount even in this digital age. Repurposing leftover wallcoverings and wallpapers for our corporate premiums such as annual calendar stands, tablemats, photo frames and fancy books.
In addition, we support charitable organisations such as Movement for the Intellectually Disabled of Singapore (MINDS) and Asian Women’s Welfare Association. We provided interior materials like wallpapers and fabrics so they can produce notepad covers and bags which could be sold for an income. Furthermore, MINDS has the core purpose to provide equal opportunities for children with intellectual disabilities to receive skills training and contribute their art and craft know-how in creating items to sell.
In 2014, Goodrich worked alongside with MediaCorp and Dr. Door to furnish three homes with our off season vinyl floorings to cover the floors. These improvised families needed safe floorings that will allow their family members on the wheelchair to move about safely. In addition, their caregivers could clean their homes easily by just vacuuming and mopping.
