Situated at Science Park, InnoCell is the first high-rise MiC building in Hong Kong, which is also Hip Hing’s first MiC project. The 17-storey InnoCell provides residential accommodation facilities, of which 15 floors are built using 418 MiC modules that adopt factory assembly followed by on-site installation. Innovative technologies such as BIM, 3D scanning and 3D printing were used in the design, planning and construction processes.
Besides, to safeguard the well-being of workers, the project team planned and designed for safety, and achieved 600,000 hours of accident free operations. InnoCell was completed ahead of schedule, with the construction programme shortened by about 40%.
