Overlooking the cityscape, the living room is enveloped by a series of floor-to-ceiling windows and doors where natural light pour through to imbue the home with a calming and natural ambience. The apartment is a new build and only minor adjustments were required in terms of its spatial planning. The focus instead was redirected to the decorative elements integrated to better reflect the client’s personality and lifestyle. The positioning of the original guest toilet was swapped with the pantry, to connect the living room with the dining room and to provide its occupants with large flexible space to entertain guests. The palette is minimal yet textural, adopting a few variations of wood finishings throughout the home - such as in the wall and cabinet panels, headboards, and tabletops - and comes together cohesively with leather and marble to create a sense of layering.

In the master bedroom, a bold attempt was made by moving the bed to the centre of the room, allowing its inhabitants to awake with an immaculate view of their surroundings. The curved headboard comes with two separate bedside tables for additional storage and provides a clear division between the opposing functions within the room: work and repose.
