Yunnan Yuxi Technician College is a full-time public national key vocational college approved by the Yunnan Provincial People's Government, which integrates secondary and senior technical education, secondary and higher vocational education, skills training and appraisal, and employment services. In February 2023 , the General Office of the Ministry of Education issued the "Letter on the Announcement and Implementation of the 2022 Vocational Education College Registration List", and Yuxi Vocational and Technical College was among them. This is not only a major benefit for the school, but also for the future educational development of the entire Yuxi city.
In the overall planning and design of the campus, the principle of "unified planning in the short and long term, overall design of the new campus and the old campus" is taken into consideration, and the first and last buildings are designed to grow from the center to the surrounding areas. The overall planning layout of "two axes, two cores, and multiple groups" is adopted, and the building groups on both sides of the campus core area and the main axis are first formed. Based on this, the campus form is supplemented and enriched, and the entire planning system is improved.
