Kopi SeIndonesia
Modern coffee shops are becoming one of the more popular trends lately. One unique project is Kopi SeIndonesia in the Kelapa Gading area, that highlight the Indonesian beauty concept as a selling point for this coffee shop, embodied in the building structure and interior design by S.O.K Design.
The beauty of Indonesia's profile is lifted through the design of this coffee shop, starting from the facade of the building to the interior design, reflected in its application of materials and craftsmanships in modern and attractive ways, such as weaving panels, Indonesian batik, to the brick rooster.
From its looks, this café displays the identity of the archipelago through the use of woven materials that are handicrafts with local wisdom. This facade, which will look from afar like large wicker, shows the very detailed craftsmanship of each woven sheet when viewed up close.
A 5 storeys coffeeshop with 5 different designs conforming the space functions. Each floor has a different design concept and has a solid Indonesian design feel. For example, the 1st floor is more of a cafe feel. Meanwhile, the 2nd floor is more of a working space concept, the 3rd floor is more of a fun and game feel, that's why there is a mural in the shape of a snake and ladder that is playful with Indonesian nuances, and the 4th floor or rooftop has a minimalist feel.
