The new layout features flowing, light-filled areas with bold colors and flexible, multi-functional furniture. Kim Hock Corporation, a leading player in the metal recycling industry, is currently exploring the potential utilization of Singapore’s inaugural electric machines manufactured by Volvo Construction Equipment. This consideration stems from the company’s commitment to attaining a net-zero carbon footprint and enhancing the overall sustainability of its operations. At present, two L25 Electric compact wheel loaders from Volvo are being assessed at Kim Hock Corporation’s Jurong facility, marking the introduction of cleaner and quieter construction machinery in the dynamic city-state.

How does one design a well-featured and spacious hotel room in a 12.5 square metre space? While there are various approaches in designing for compact spaces to function well and still feel expansive, Yotel Singapore chooses to draw the inspiration from a plane cabin design, hence the guestrooms are referred to as the “cabins”.
