hansgrohe - “Brand of the Century”
The hansgrohe brand was awarded the “Marken des Jahrhunderts” (Brands of the Century) accolade at a gala book launch on 14 November 2018 at the Palais Frankfurt in Frankfurt/Main. Once again hansgrohe had been included in the Who-is-Who of German brand history. The award was handed to Marc André Palm, Head of Global Brand Marketing of the hansgrohe brand by Dr Florian Langenscheidt. “We are incredibly proud to have been included in this prestigious publication, a compendium which is published only every three years. And, hansgrohe can in fact look back on nearly 120 years of company history, making it a true brand of the century”, says a delighted Marc André Palm.

In its publication “Deutsche Standards – Marken des Jahrhunderts 2019” (German Standards – Brands of the Century 2019), TEMPUS CORPORATE presents more than 200 highly regarded German brands, the “Brands of the Century”, in this high-quality, illustrated volume. The brands each exemplify a product category.
Dr Florian Langenscheidt has been publishing a new edition of the book every three years since 2002. At the beginning of this year, the publisher and entrepreneur transferred the rights to the “Deutsche Standards” (German Standards) brand and the “Marken des Jahrhunderts” (Brands of the Century) book project to TEMPUS CORPORATE. “Marken des Jahrhunderts” is an encyclopaedia of leading German brands, showcasing Germany’s most iconic companies,” Florian Langenscheidt explains. “The book highlights companies that have set the bar in their respective industries. The result is a journey through a cultural experience we all share and that has shaped our everyday lives, as most of us grew up with the iconic brands whose backgrounds, histories, significance and impact are described in this compendium."
