With the increasing desire for indoor-outdoor living and modern interior design, the substantial rise in demand for bi folding door systems comes as no surprise. Securefold can help create unique living spaces where entire walls can be ‘opened up’ – bringing the outdoors in and making the most of natural light.

With a choice of four different hinge options – standard, mortice radius, mortice squared and non-mortice – customers are able to specify the system to meet their preferred method of installation and door material.

Available in four stunning finishes – black, gold, satin and chrome – the system can also complement existing door hardware and virtually any colour scheme.

Securefold not only looks great but it’s also very versatile …

The system can cater for both top hung and bottom rolling exterior wooden doors – meaning if you have an application such as an orangery, conservatory or extension where structural support is lacking, we have a solution for you. The system is also available for a variety of different maximum door weights – 50kg, 100kg and 150kg.

Panels are able to be folded and stacked to one or both sides of an opening, allowing for easy mobility when moving from indoors to outdoors. With an option of inward or outward door hardware and a range of different door combinations to choose from, Securefold allows you to create a unique system to suit your exact requirements.

As an additional accessory, we also offer a Twinbolt locking system whereby top and bottom throw rods are operated by one simple turn of a handle to engage two points of locking. Alternatively, our locking and non-locking flush bolts can be fixed to the top and bottom of the door to allow two points of closing for increased security.

When considering bi-folding doors, it’s important to choose a system that is durable and high in performance. At P C Henderson, we put each and every one of our products through extensive and rigorous testing prior to launch to ensure our products are not only robust but are also capable of withstanding our 10 year manufacturer guarantee.

Common applications for bi-fold doors include coastal properties in order to maximize views and make the best use of external space. However, in such environments extreme care must be taken as weather conditions may affect the door hardware and components used. To avoid this, all of P C Henderson’s Securefold components are made from marine grade 316 stainless steel and have been salt spray tested – ensuring our system is highly weather resistant.
