Delivered as part of the Court Services Victoria Security and Assets Upgrades program the $2.0 million redevelopment of the 160 year Kyneton Courthouse included the addition of a new secure connection between the Kyneton Police Station and the courthouse ensuring safer movement of people in custody.
The internal reconfiguration included an addition creating an accessible public entry and airlock, a foyer with separate waiting spaces and interview rooms, new registry counter, improved public amenities and roof and external face upgrades that maintain the heritage registered building.
