In this project, we were brief to make use of marbles since the families has a marble family business. While cater the needs of using a various pattern, Natalie wants to keep it subtle and modern since it owns by young families. While we were spoiled by the varieties of the marble pattern, Natalie carefully choose the correct pattern to make a stand out but perfecty blend in with the whole interior. She was inspired by the natural beauty of the marbles and it translated into the pattern and color selection. Like in the entrance we were welcomed by the fluid pattern of trees wallpaper door to balance the geometric black and pattern on floor. Also in the open space of living dining pantry areas it has a green marbles as the focal point of this area, the pattern shows a mountain-like feeling. To add more natural pattern, natalie also combining a floral mozaic pattern in the shelves as a beautiful background. A balance between the natural and man made beauty is truly make this project remarkable.
