One that has helped design some of Singapore’s most important landmark buildings and structures. The company was founded in 1924 by the late Steen Sehested, a Danish Civil Engineer(inset). After the war, Sehested re-established the Singapore practice and a partnership was formed in 1956. Rapid expansion followed and offices were soon established in Kuala Lumpur and other major parts of Malaysia and Brunei. The firm underwent a restructure in 1972, and centred itself in Singapore and Malaysia. Today, the firm is managed and supported by a team of dedicated and experienced Engineers and Technical personnel.
