  In 2015, in order to cooperate with the strategic layout of the preparation and construction of the International School of Shanghai Jiaotong University Education Group, Think Design was established within Jiaotong University under the leadership of Dr. Wang Tao. Starting from 2019, with the school-enterprise reform, Think Design became independent and became a market-oriented design brand company. In 2022, Think Design joined the Jiaotong University Design Institute platform and joined the "Shanghai Jiaotong University Design Research Institute" under the name of "Think Industry-Education Integration Research Center".
