A recently built two-storey sanctuary Residing, PR Residence, lies in the south side of Jakarta for a young family of three. Upon entering the residence, walking along the outside corridor, the family is welcomed by a hint of their lush garden through an aperture on the wall. A perfect glimpse of what the humble abode has to offer to its residents.

Most people think that a house’s aesthetics can be enhanced by retrofitting a garden. However, limited space often becomes the obstacle. As a matter of fact, there are several garden designs that can be applied in a small space. These garden designs are not only compact but also easy to take care of thanks to their simple choices of plants, requiring homeowners to do minimal, hassle-free maintenance only.

The Garden merupakan restoran kasual yang terletak di Pantai Indah Kapuk, Jakarta Utara. Konsep desain yang dihadirkan adalah taman didalam restaurant dengan tanaman dan bunga. Ide awal dari restaurant ini adalah ingin menghadirkan suasana makan di taman tanpa ada batasan indoor dan outdoor. Tantangan dari desain ini adalah merubah dua ruko menjadi restaurant yang memiliki konsep taman sehingga pada saat customer datang ke The Garden  mereka merasakan oasis yang berbeda dan tidak terasa seperti didalam sebuah ruko.

Green Garden House mulai di desain di tahun 2012. Tahun penting untuk disebutkan karena nominal tahun akan menjadi frame untuk melihat konteks yang terjadi pada rentang masa tersebut.

The client wanted a home that felt luxurious but still comfortable and welcoming.
