About Kelvin Thengono Kelvin Thengono is a Jakarta based Architect with an international experience in the construction industry. He sees architectural design as a response to a specific site, while crafts delightful spatial experiences. His tactfulness and holistic approach have defined the studio’s core values in providing creative solutions to design challenges. As the founder of K-Thengono Design Studio, he engaged with a wide range of project types, from custom residences and hospitality to commercial offices and healthcare institutions. Kelvin received his Bachelor of Architecture with Honors at California College of the Arts and was awarded Design Excellence Honor Awards by AIAS and CCA for highest academic achievement in post-professional programs. He has worked both in the U.S and Bali with award winning architectural firms, including Craig Steely Architecture, Jensen Architects, Min Design, and Alexis Dornier. He recently has been an invited design critic at California College of the Arts, won an Architizer A+Awards Popular Choice Winner for NORU, and has his works numerously written by notable architectural magazines.
