OUR STORY In 2010, Adam M Raman (BSc UiTM, BArch Manchester) together with Sati Sekar (BSc UiTM, Masters in Environmental Design UM) formed Lakar Design Studio to examine and enhance the built environment within the tropical context. With growing concern over the environment, LAKAR belives that the future of living is environmental and highly integrated with technology. LAKAR specializes in Modern Tropical and Sustainable Architecture. Operating within an emerging field, LAKAR employs the latest building technology and reinvent the use of materials to achieve its sustainable goal. "In order to persue the best and latest in green construction, LAKAR developed the design/build approach it uses today." Our network consists of people from multiple areas and diverse backgrounds, working in integrated ways to reach solutions and surprising results.
