Set on the banks of the River Trent and opposite Trent Bridge cricket ground, Waterside Apartments is a large-scale residential development that is setting a new benchmark for waterside living in Nottingham.
The recently completed development compromises of 121 luxury Apartments, all with views of the river. The development is part refurbishment and part New build. The existing building was stripped back to the concrete frame with new towers at each end and two additional levels across above. With a mix of one-, two- and three-bedroom Apartments including 13 Duplexes, we believe it offers something for everyone.

Key to the success of the project was juggling a considerate approach to the aesthetic of the building due to its proximity to the grade II listed Trent Bridge, ensuring a financially viable scheme for the developer and maximising views of the River Trent. This was achieved through intelligent use of existing core locations to add much needed unit numbers whilst not over-loading the massing of the building. Utilising the existing cores also allowed the design team to achieve the lofty goal of providing every unit within the development with a river view. Each core services a maximum of 4 units per level; further improving the quality of experience for the end user.

The interiors are designed and specified by our in-house team of interior designers as well as the dressing of the show apartments. Watch this film from Liberty Gate to see these All apartments benefit from open plan living, kitchen and dining areas with river views forming the perfect compliment. All residents have use of the concierge, indoor and outdoor social spaces, on site bar & restaurant and private outdoor terrace.
“This once tired-looking council office is fast becoming a Nottingham residential icon and possibly the most instagramed building in the city.“

The existing building facade is finished in a subtle off-white render which is complemented with clean, crisp symmetrical ‘book end’ towers at teach end. The curtain wall frames the existing building by running the full length of the façade.
