Abu Dhabi National Oil Company wanted to test the S5000 gas monitor in all the environmental conditions, which meant conducting a comprehensive trial and running for a full 12 months. Find out more about the trial and what ADNOC’s conclusions were.
ADNOC Onshore has been using MOS sensors to detect H2S leaks for many years and following the launch of MSA’s General Monitors S5000 gas monitor, they wanted to fully evaluate the new detector and its revolutionary H2S XCell® Electrochemical sensor. To test its performance in all seasons, it was agreed to run the trial for a full year. The S5000 was also fitted with two H2S XCell Electrochemical sensors, with the primary sensor tested every 3 months and the secondary sensor only tested on the final day of testing. Find out how the S5000 and the sensors performed.
