Our Wish Has Been Granted! New Group Technical Director to Join the Global Vebro Group Board!

Vebro Group is delighted to welcome Grant Adamson to the global Vebro family and Board of Directors, announcing his appointment to the organisation in the role of Group Technical Director.

Stationed at the company’s new manufacturing / R&D facility in the Greater Klang Valley, Kuala Lumpur, Grant brings with him three decades of experience in the polymer coatings and construction chemicals industries.

Having graduated from Edinburgh Napier University in 1991 with a degree in Applied Chemistry (Polymer Science and Technology) Grant has forged a career focussed on research and development in the polymer flooring space.

Having gained global experience across three continents, Grant is well-versed in a range of polymer technologies including PU concrete, vinyl-ester resin, MMA, PUMMA, polyurea, epoxy coatings and cementitious levelling screeds.

Throughout his career, Grant had driven formulatory improvements across a wide range of polymer-based flooring and coating products, engineering materials not only to exceed statutory health and safety requirements, but also to improve their performance – not just from a physical characteristics perspective but also to make them more cost-effective, environmentally sustainable, easier to install and adaptable to local market conditions.

Not always found in the laboratory, Grant has vast experience in M&A, technical due diligence, material specification, material procurement, on-site troubleshooting and developing new commercial partnerships.

Grant will now be tasked with leading and strengthening a global team focussed on supporting Vebro Polymers’ customers with all technical needs and services.
