Upon approaching the building, the clean straight rectilinear exterior of the sales gallery sturdy among its green surroundings greets its visitors. Distinguished by the zig-zag protrusions on the main building façade, the irregularity of the building form is designed to provide adequate natural lighting into its interior. Entering the space, the solid exterior impression is soften by the warm glow from the day light and the use of timber and greeneries in its interior. Carefully designed to integrate the building into its surrounding, the sales gallery is oriented to frame its views towards the town park, show village and the far out surrounding greeneries allowing its occupants a dynamic view. Together with the children playground, music and resting lounges located at pocket spaces created by the zig-zag protrusions, the sales gallery provides a welcoming environment to its visitors.
The sales gallery consists of a gallery space for the exhibition of developments, information centre, community spaces, meeting rooms, a sky lounge and various office-use spaces. Designed with an open concept, the building layout allows interaction between different spaces and the external surrounding with the internal space. Even the toilets are designed to integrate nature into its space.
Serving as a commercial space, the building adopts energy efficient systems aligned with the development's green aspiration. With adequate natural lighting provided through generous glass wall, only minimum artificial lighting is required. And when required, lightings fitted with energy efficient T5 fluorescents were enhanced with the use of zone controlled switching. Designed with a double height interior, the building strategically utilises a low level air distribution system which is not only highly energy efficient in comparison to conventional air con provision systems but also has better health benefits. With a rainwater harvesting system, the building's environmental demands are further reduced.
