In light of the re-opening of Malaysia’s borders today and our transition into an Endemic phase, we hope our Airports will in-time be as vibrant as they were before. Here, we look back at our first Airport design back in 2018.
We participated in the tender for the Penang International Airport Extension, as the Interior Design consultant alongside a larger consortium of esteemed Airport specialists.
The project aimed to unravel the rich history of Penang, by identifying four cores to be integrated into spatial design of the new PEN interior. To capture the tangible and intangible qualities of Penang, we must first capture the essence of Penang itself.
Although the PEN Airport did not come through, we secured the tender for Kota Bharu Airport Kelantan, with expected completion in 2024. The works are currently underway.
