For more than 2 decades, the Marcos administration clearly defined a unique architectural style, combined with its relentless infrastructure agendas. The base structure is meant to evoke the era as a contextual inspiration but with a different intention: The towering mass and colonnades will stir up feelings of overbearing weight and powerlessness which makes people empathize with the victims of the era.
