This landmark building for the Singapore Youth Flying Club is sited at the edge of the Seletar Airport Runway. The design of the building form was inspired by the curved, functional form of an aircraft hangar. The monolithic form houses the club's training, administrative offices, aero-modelling club and its other various functions. An aircraft hangar is situated in its right wing. Covered aircraft parking sheds extend out from the monolithic form, providing shelter for the club's aircraft. A cafe is sited in the middle of the building and provides a panoramic view of aircraft landing and taking off from the airfield.
