Glossier Miami
Glossier Miami draws from two of the city’s most vibrant design themes, art deco and the city’s vibrant Latin influence. The pastel set emulates the formal language of art deco, while details of fruit and tropical elements tie in to the city’s cultural vibrance. The site included a public breezeway and so the interior was conceived as an inside out streetscape and was built like a stage set, welcoming the natural flow of pedestrians. Through colors, textures, and geometric details, the design pays homage to Miami’s unique architectural landscape. The store was located in the energetic Wynwood Arts District and by commissioning a young artist to design and paint a mural, we were able to add to the colorful landscape that defines the neighborhood.
