cgnArchitects was registered as a professional practice in October 2005. Despite its short history, it has already made its mark by being appointed for major projects in Singapore and in the region. The strength of the practice lies in the cumulative wealth of experience in the team. Our team is made up of a carefully selected group of architects and designers who have worked in various types of developments: retail, landed residential estates, condominiums, high-rise office buildings, high-tech industrial plants, infrastructure and master-planning. We consider this accumulated knowledge pool to be our asset. The team members’ past involvement in various overseas projects has also helped to establish a database of specialist designers in US, Australia, Japan, China and Malaysia. It is this network connection that enables us to draw upon their expertise at short notice. In 2007, as part of our expansion plan, cgnA Consultancy was established in Kuala Lumpur to service the growing number of regional projects, while ccg+A was created to take on major commercial interior design works. With this unique background, the firm is able to offer design solutions based on creative architectural ideas that are backed by practical considerations and technical know-how.
