About CHRYSTALLINE architect

Born at Jakarta, Indonesia on 1983, Chris graduated in 2005 from Tarumanagara University as a valedictorian with a perfect grade on his final assignment entitled “Garbage Recycling Station” in which his professors called as a ""novelty and extraordinary" concept. After his study, he assigned himself as a freelance architect for 2 years, searching for in-depth experience, before finally establishing his own architecture firm in 2007 named, "Chrystalline Artchitect". To him, architecture is an inexplicable form of art, which can’t be categorized as abstract, "I believe there is no such thing called abstract. There is always a hidden sequence within the way it’s arranged. That’s one of the things I obtain from practice in architecture." His passion for architecture has never stopped growing. His fervor expands even more, especially when it comes to working with insubstantial conditions, "For me, more obstacles emit even more unexpected, exceptional designs. Working under intense circumstances enables my inner creativity to outburst rapidly." Chris explained that his inspiration mostly comes from nature-form sources, "I try to create a functional space, with clean, and detail touches of Mother Nature interpretation. I prefer to use the actual, earthy color of the materials itself. It appeals more natural, moreover, it is easier to maintain, with longer sustainability." Chris remarked, "Meticulous details are also a necessity and interesting to explore with. Those detailed attributes fascinate me in every way."
