About LAYA Architects
The Studio is led by Prabhu Sugumar, a graduate of Southern California Institute of Architecture (SCI-Arc). He has a strong design experience under several reputed International Design firms from Los Angeles, Mexico City, Washington D.C to Beijing, Singapore and India. He has experience working on diverse range of International projects (both commissions and competitions) from Museums, Schools, Sports centers to hospitality related project at Manila as the project designer. He has a deep knowledge of currently used advanced Architectural Design tools as well as the knowledge to convert complex design ideas to practice. He has worked on several Public Architecture projects in China in collaboration with Pei Zhu and Gcam, the Guggenheim consultants from New York. He has collaborated on several projects with Arup Engineers Los Angeles, as the Structural consultants.
