Founded in 1956 by a group of local fishermen, Blue Fin is the largest fishing club in Australia. Over the years, Blue Fin has adapted to many changes and become a success story in the fishing community. Undergoing a few upgrades over the years, the recent refurbishment by Inaspace Architecture and Design has propelled the clubhouse into a new era.
Within the recent upgrade, Kaynemaile Architectural Mesh was selected for 2 massive ceiling features. With its curved detail, the mesh is a stand-out, with the Hairpin-shaped custom ceiling feature spanning 37 metres in length, while the Spiral-shaped design reaches 48 meters long. Each Bronze screen was manufactured as a single piece of mesh. The ceiling features are a perfect solution to lowering the overhead visual space, immersing the gaming room within the winding ceiling detail. The modern chainmail fabric consists of interlinked polycarbonate rings formed seamlessly to create a strong yet highly flexible mesh. Easily curved and shaped, Kaynemaile mesh offers superior design flexibility across all areas of hospitality projects for both interior and exterior areas.
Bluefin offers their members, a relaxing and cosy environment to spend time with family and friends. The strength of Blue Fin is its place in the community. Sponsoring various local projects and running a community support program. Every dollar generated by the club is invested back into fishing or to enhancing their services and facilities for members.
