HIA Sunshine Coast Kitchen Design of the Year 22â²
The brief for this coastal renovation was to design a kitchen with a wow factor, that was perfect for entertaining family and friends.
With a predominately white palette selected for this large kitchen, the textures and views do the talking. The floor is eye-catching with its bold variegated colour tones of grey, with the American Oak Veneer in Ultra Matt finish a stunning accompaniment that frames out the kitchen and perfectly placed fish tank. The original kitchen was dark and unwelcoming, and lacked bench space, while it offered lots of storage the configuration made it impractical.
The new kitchen offers clean lines and is uncluttered, selecting Staron Solid Surface in Supreme Morning Sky to offer a hint of colour across all benchtops and island cladding. Incorporating texture and another light source into the island counter, Mario Romano Walls was selected in Flame Design. Mario Romano Walls were clad to the island and used to revamp an existing joinery unit that was part of the original open-plan office area.
The Brushed Brass elements feature throughout the kitchen and sit nicely against the white backdrop and Oak Veneer. While the handmade tiles with their rippled surface capture the light as it washes down the face of the splashback. A stunning kitchen that caters to the ever-changing needs of day and evening entertainment.
