Developed by BLUM and winner of a 2022 Red Dot award, the REVEGO pocket system has arrived in New Zealand. Available in a range of single (REVEGO uno) and double (REVEGO duo) applications, the full overlay fronts disappear into a dedicated narrow cabinet – the ‘pocket.’
This clever design concept makes it easy to build multifunctionality into open plan spaces without resorting to conventional bifold or sliding door systems.
Here are some tips to make the most of REVEGO’s unique features:
Tip 1: Reduce complexity by doing away with the need for a power supply.
Many people are surprised that such a substantial door can be easily moved in and out of its pocket without motors. But it’s true – REVEGO relies on proven TIP-ON motion technology to release the wall and slide it in and out. So, there’s no need for the extra complexity and construction issues that a powered system might require.
Tip 2: Make the most of handle-less design.
Because it integrates TIP-ON motion technology, Blum frees you from the need to add door furniture. A simple press is all it takes to unlock the door from its pocket or release to glide back in. Many designers and end users love the way REVEGO creates a smooth, minimalist aesthetic for upmarket homes and commercial environments.
You could take this approach to the next level by creating a ‘wall of doors.’ Start with a niche of the maximum width and height. Then imagine a three-metre-wide space covered by two double door REVEGO duos, incorporating four door leaves of 750mm wide each and up to three metres high.

Tip 4: Reduce complexity during installation.
REVEGO makes life simple on-site. It’s supplied with all essential components integrated into the pocket system.
As a result, there’s no need to transport individual component parts or assemble them at customers’ premises. Instead, you can easily pre-assemble the tall cabinet in the workshop and simply transport the unit to its final destination. Creating a multifunctional interior space has never been easier.
