About Gilt Edge

Over the past 50 years we have evolved from a small manufacturing base in Christchurch to become the leading solution provider and wholesaling distributor in NZ for flooring construction, installation and preparation products.

We have an energetic and highly experienced professional team of 24 people servicing the NZ Flooring Trade market from a dozen locations. Over the past 15 years our working Directors Chris Dickey (MD) and Nick Richardson (GM) have together driven and evolved Gilt Edge to the business it is today. Grant Dickey founder (1969) and owner still remains active at board level.

The company name Gilt Edge Industries stems from the historical term for premium government bonds and securities that received universal backing and confidence by the market constituents. We strive to remain true to name in all our daily transactions.
