Nestled in leafy bushland, Eagleby State School’s double storey modular building was delivered and operational in a fraction of the time of a traditional build. With increased enrollments this fast and effective solution allowed the school to continue to grow without hindering class sizes and with little to no disruption to students and teachers.
Fleetwood was contracted by Queensland Department of Education to demolish an asbestos ridden legacy building and deliver a full turnkey solution with the inclusion of multiple general learning areas, along with several connected decking ramps, concrete paths and a lift for easy access.
Safetyline Jalousie have long been a popular choice for Fleetwood who pride themselves on utilising the best quality sustainable building materials. The Eagleby State School design incorporated 20 Jalousie louvre windows which were manufactured and assembled in Sydney within a short lead time ready for delivery to Fleetwood’s factory for installation. This process was critical in maximising time efficiencies and quality control and minimising offsite and onsite waste and costs.
The building has provided a cost and time effective method of supporting modern learning environments and with Safetyline Jalousie the school can be confident that they have a high quality ventilation solution that is safe, secure, reliable and sustainable both now and the into the future.
