Masjid Ar-Rahman

Privately funded, the magnificent timber masjid was built on a man-made island  in the lagoon of Pulau Gajah, Sabak, Pengkalan Chepa, Kelantan.

Built almost fully in timber by master craftsmen  and artisans from Japara, it borrows from the principles of  Javanese Tumpang Sari, modified to 5-pillars representing the 5 pillars of Islam.
