We were very excited to work with Merbein P-10 College on a small budget, big impact refurbishment for the Activity Centre space. The work on the Activity Centre has improved not only the teaching spaces for the school but also improved spaces for the community. The main criteria for the project was to bring life into the old gym as well as repairing maintenance issues. Through the use of colour, materiality and improving acoustics the Activity Centre was transformed into a building that fits within the 21st century teaching spaces already employed at the school. The Activity Centre is now an exciting central gathering space bringing the school and the community together.
