Jasa Ferrie Persada & Jasa Ferrie Pratama (JFP) is an architectual and enginering consulting firm that was established in Surabaya and Jakarta. JFP started as the Jakarta office of James Ferrie and Partners, a firm that was founder in Singapore in 1952. In 1977, JFP was transformed ana become an indepedent architectural and enginering firm in Jakarta. Although the firm became a local entity, it is stil associated through technical cooperation with James Ferrie International and its offices in Southeast Asia. such as Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Kota Kinabalu and Colombo. JFP offers professional consultancy in the fields of planning, architectural and interior design, enginering, project management, and contstruction management JFP has capability in project management and contract supervision: overseeing project from conception to planning approval, and through the construction stages up to final certification. In its 40 years of business, the firm has had many challenging and complex phases. Form the company's establishment up to the 1970s and early 1980s, the firm was well known for designing and constructing industrial buildings; between the 1980a and mid 1990s, while maintaining its place in the industrial building market the firm completed a wide range of project that included hotels, commercial office blocks and educational institutions.
