About Collective Studio

COLLECTIVE is an International Architecture Studio practicing Architecture, Interiors and Exhibition Design . We are a research and concept driven architecture practice that offers powerful narratives, insists on Clarity, Beauty and Function. While COLLECTIVE remains dedicated to the realization of Architecture, we also engage in areas beyond the traditional boundaries of the built; driven by curiosity and experimentation, we also operate as design consultants, researching and practicing in Academia, Strategies & Brief Making, Scenography, Exhibition Architecture and Experiential Art . Founded in 2015, COLLECTIVE is currently directed by Betty Ng, Chi Yan Chan, Juan Minguez and Katja Lam, together with a very diverse team from an international background. The Directors at COLLECTIVE have previously practiced at Pritzker Prize winning studios of Rem Koolhaas/OMA, Herzog & de Meuron and at various genre of design practices worldwide in Directorship and Senior positions. Our project experiences reach those in the European Union, United Kingdom, North America, China, South East Asia, Australia and the Middle East. Our Design Methodology focuses not on the Creator but the Critics. Building on convergence and a ‘collective’ of diverse merits, we engage design with our team's wide spectrum of expertise, also with our collaborators and clients worldwide in various disciplines, challenging the status quo of the "Named" Architecture office.  COLLECTIVE (Collective Studio Limited) is globally oriented and strongly rooted in Asia. We are headquartered in Hong Kong, with studio in Madrid.
