At Argenta Cerámica, we have incorporated new solutions in our packaging line enabling us to achieve the utmost protection of our ceramic products, seeking the maximum restraint, safety and protection in both handing and transportation of the product.
In order to achieve this ambitious challenge, we have completely renovated our Packaging Line in our Plant 1 based on Vall dâAlba. We chose the innovative Stretch Hood system, a new packaging solution that has been in operation in our White Body Wall Tile factory (Plant 2) in Onda with highly satisfactory results.
Due to the needs for restraint and stability during transport required by large ceramic formats, we have chosen a combination of a horizontal strapping mechanism with a corner protection applicator and a ring wrapping system that achieves perfect restraint and protection of the ceramic product.
Moreover, the packging system Stretch Hood offers total protection against external agents and reduces plastic use. Also, since gas combustion is not used to adjust the protective wrapping, it also cuts CO2 emissions, providing various efficiency and sustainability benefits over the traditional heat shrink wrapping system.
The ultimate objective is to provide protection better suited to our ceramic formats, ensuring the product reaches our customer in perfect condition. Our packaging is thus designed to offer the utmost safety in handling and transport with wrapping that protects the product against external agents. All this also contributes to helping us achieve our environmental commitment, cutting CO2 emissions and considerably decreasing plastic consumption.
We would like to thank our supplier Innova Maquinaria for the service they have provided and we are looking forward to working together on future projects in which we share the same philosophy of work, innovation and sustainability.
