VERTICAL LIFT & EQUIPMENT, INC. (VLEI) is an offshoot of Active Reliant Elevator & Escalator Company (AREEC) whose mission is to establish an elevator company that will become a recognized industry leader in providing top quality elevators and escalators at reasonable cost.

The company prime mover is Engr. Ronnie Rivero who previously worked with industry giant Mitsubishi Electric. While assigned in the Middle East and Japan under the same group, Ronnie forged his skills and extensive experience in the field of Engineering, Installation, Modernization and Maintenance. He further developed his competency by working with other lift companies and later became a freelance lift consultant.

In 2006, Ronnie setup Active Reliant Elevator & Escalator Company (AREEC) to promote the sales, installation, repair and modernization of various lifts manufactured in Japan, Taiwan and China. The company currently has fifteen (15) maintenance routes servicing more two hundred (200) units of elevators/escalators, fifty (50) installation crews and one (1) full time modernization personnel. It is also the preferred lift provider of DMCI for its residential and commercial building projects. In 2014, AREEC take its new corporate name as VERTICAL ELEVATORS.

VERTICAL LIFT will soon establish satellite offices in the Visayas and Mindanao region to cater the growing after sales requirement of its customers in the country.

Meanwhile, VLEI is backed by Shenyang Brilliant Elevator Co., Ltd, a professional elevator manufacturer engaged in the developing, designing, manufacturing, selling, installation, and after-sales service of complete elevator products. BLT has passed lSO9001:2008 Quality System Certificate, lSO14001 Certificate of Environment Management System and GB/T28001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System Certificate. In addition, BLT products have all obtained the CE certification of EU, COST certification of Russia and CSA certificate of North America. BLT is a leading domestic elevator enterprise in China with comprehensive strength ranking top five; BLT is fully recognized by customers for its superior technology, quality and service.

VLEI is also accredited by KOYO Elevator Co. Ltd. A professional designer, researcher, manufacturer and maintainer of elevator, escalator, passenger conveyor and parking systems. KOYO has an established modern production base in Kunshan City, China. It has a total investment of USD 20.0 Million and registered capital of USD 15.0 Million.
