Nagi House is a growing house project. It's start from the owner's dream to make comfortable space for newborn baby by expanding existing house. However, due to limited budget and time, this project is divided into several stages. The first stage is start by making a new mass using the existing backyard. Space left between the two masses then becomes in between space for family gathering in the future.
Nagi House’s facade looks simple, but still elegant. Different accent is made by GRC woodplank to bring warm feeling while entering the house. Although this house faces west and is exposed to direct sunlight , its tricked by planting tress in front of it so that the house will be shaded well.
Nagi House layout is very attentive to openings to maximize cross ventilation and light by giving transparent roof on dry garden and creating an inner court. This is done also to save electricity usage during the day. High ceiling is made high enough to give the impression of space and make the house feel cooler. The dark gray color on the floor is chosen to make the ceiling feel close, combine with wooden colors on the sills to add a warm impression to this house.
