An environment that supports a highly collaborative and flexible post-COVID hybrid workplace model. 3iStudio was engaged to carry out this design challenge and has successfully transformed the space into a stunning workplace that NCS is proud to showcase.
The new workplace offers a variety of collaborative spaces, from an open discussion booth, and enclosed pods to a state-of-the-art gym facility. Different types of meeting spaces were provided. Giving staff excitement to come back to the office to collaborate and work out.
The design approach for a sleek and elegant space with well-thought details of every built-in piece of furniture. Live plants are introduced to the space to meet the green mark criteria that NCS is committed to achieving. Besides live plants, all interior products down to mechanical and electrical design met the green label requirements set by the Local Authority. Disposal of old furniture and existing built-in were handled according to green mark guidelines.
A food truck was brought in to use as a pantry cabinet instead of customizing a typical carpentry joinery. This item has since become an icon in NCS Hub. Furthermore, the natural solid timber table tops treated with resin give the matured tree a second life to be recycled as a piece of furniture.
