This house is located on a plot which has high exposure to the afternoon sunlight. Hence, the design resulted in much use of modern-patterned screens / sunshading devices to lessen the effect of uncomfortable afternoon sun getting into the core areas in the building. We also tried to create a small open space (inner yard) to allow alternative views and sunlights. Materials used included marble and timber.
