Watson Young Architects was founded by Colin Watson and Adrian Young in 2004. The two friends forged a strong relationship early in life which set them in good stead for their thriving architectural practice. Both Directors believe that being humble, remaining approachable and easy to deal with contributes to their success. They are disciplined and motivated by creativity and new opportunities. More importantly, they share a passion for building strong and lasting relationships with their client base – a source of much repeat business, and a testament to the strength of their dealings with clients. In an industry where ego and architectural design or ‘form’ often compete with a client’s ‘functional’ objectives, the ability to deliver a functional project has become part of our organisation’s culture of success and one both Colin and Adrian continue to nurture.
