Leonard Design Architects were appointed to undertake the retail and hotel planning and concept work for this mixed use development with the retail sitting under a 10 hectare elevated park. The site is located to the South East of the traditional city core and commercial district and is surrounded by large thoroughfares. The goal of the development is to create a living breathing ‘organic’ financial centre defined by the overarching concept of integration. It is further realised by the definition of no setback requirements within the development to allow greater integration and comingling of uses and dynamic connections between buildings and precincts.
